Wimbledon Foundation Partnerships Manager
Job description
The Partnerships Manager role at the Wimbledon Foundation involves managing and overseeing a portfolio of programmes and partnerships locally, nationally, and internationally. This role offers high visibility across the organisation and is ideal for someone who thrives on acting as a brand ambassador, networking and building relationships. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, development of programme content, monitoring and evaluating outcomes, and helping to promote the Foundation’s impact through communications and events.
What you will be doing
Strategic Partnership Oversight
- Lead and manage local, national, and international programmes and partnerships, acting as the main contact and ensuring delivery aligns with the Foundation’s goals.
- Undertake local and national visits to build a strong sense of cooperation and collaboration with delivery partners.
- Monitor and evaluate impact through regular updates and visits, review partnerships, develop plans and make recommendations to the Head of Foundation and Trustees for future developments. Prepare and present regular reports for the Board of Trustees and All England Club stakeholders.
- Work closely with the All England Club’s Commercial & Marketing team to manage relationships with Official Partners that support the Foundation and identify and develop new opportunities and partnerships where possible.
Programme Development & Delivery
- Identify opportunities to enhance and promote partnerships via delivery, communications, or fundraising.
- Manage contracts, budgets, and grant payments, ensuring compliance and alignment with agreements.
Key Programme Leadership
- Set for Success (SFS): Lead national programme with delivery partner Youth Sport Trust and Official Partner Barclays, review developments, manage steering group, develop initiatives, and plan and deliver events.
- Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI): Provide strategic guidance, oversee budget, and enhance programme visibility during The Championships. Work with colleagues to oversee the delivery and growth of the programme locally, lead on monitoring and evaluation.
- International Partnerships: Develop plans with disaster relief partners, promote impact, and report on progress.
Communications & Representation
- Collaborate with the Foundation’s Communications and Events Manager on content creation, PR, and activations to raise the profile of the Foundation’s programmes and partnerships. Ensure that all materials and collateral are aligned to agreed standards and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with colleagues and partners to gather case studies and content for use in communications such as press releases, award entries and publications and support on related PR activities and activations at The Championships.
- Represent the Foundation at external events and maintain awareness of external trends in programme design, delivery, evaluation and funding environments.
- Act as an ambassador for the Foundation with All England Club colleagues, strengthening relationships and identifying and developing new opportunities for staff engagement and promotion of the Foundation’s work.
Championships Involvement
- Support with development and delivery of partnership activations to engage guests.
- Help to deliver Foundation activities including managing charity ticket allocations, supporting guest engagement and working on the Foundation Kiosk and Queue activation (including weekend shifts).
Additional Info
- Role requires DBS clearance and some UK travel.
- Part of a small, dynamic team of seven individuals, committed to our shared values and cause.
Working Hours
- Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. The role-holder must be prepared to work occasional evenings or weekend days to meet ad hoc requirements of the role. We operate a flexible working pattern with typically Mondays and Fridays working from home.
- Please note, additional hours/days will be required before and during The Championships.
About You
- Passionate about the Foundation’s mission and activities, with enthusiasm for the voluntary sector.
- Proven experience in delivering, developing and managing programmes and partnerships across charity, community and corporate sectors, ideally in the youth and/or sport for development sector.
- An inspiring, energising and adaptable relationship builder, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels including service users, colleagues, senior leadership and boards.
- A natural connector, a skilled communicator and presenter, with strong interpersonal abilities who leads with positivity and clarity.
- Accountable for delivering large-scale partnership plans and confident bringing bold ideas to co-develop new initiatives.
- A confident brand ambassador, capable of organising and hosting events with professionalism and diplomacy.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Background
The Wimbledon Foundation is the charity of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) and The Championships. It uses the collective strength of The AELTC and The Championships to make a positive difference to people’s lives. The Foundation champions opportunity for all and works in partnership locally, nationally and internationally to deliver programmes, provide grants and financial support and donate resources such as physical gifts and use of our facilities.
