Job description
This form is to be completed by returning Ticketmaster Ticket Sales Operators who would like to register their application for The Championships 2025.
What you will be doing
- Processing ticket sales transactions to guests entering the grounds via the infamous Queue, while providing outstanding customer service.
- Accurately utilising the Points of Sale to ensure smooth, but efficient guest journey.
- Troubleshooting issues with guest payments, escalating any complex issues to the Supervisor on duty.
- Proactively providing guests with information and assistance.
- Ensuring guests have the best possible experience at The Championships, providing high quality and accurate interactions.
- Where possible, acting as a translator for guests for whom English is not their first language.
- Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver the guest experience; you will be one of the first ports of call for guests who have questions or need assistance around the Grounds.
- Being flexible and adaptable to meet the operational needs of the Ticketing Department during the event.

- Strong attention to detail.
- A flexible approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly.
- Great communication skills.
- Professional and discreet.
- Competent IT user; the role will involve using POS machines as well as ticket scanning hardware.
- Uses own initiative to identify any problems and takes active steps for a resolution.
- Foreign language skills are a bonus.

- The Ticketing Department issues and accounts for over half a million souvenir tickets every year for the four ticketed Show Courts and The Queue (via which many thousands of Grounds Passes are sold). It administers all aspects of the Wimbledon Public Ballot and a wide variety of other allocations; it prepares and supplies tickets in bulk to a range of third parties, for instance the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and Official Suppliers.
