Job description

To support the delivery of digital engagement through owned platforms and communications year-round and during The Championships.

What you will be doing

  • Support the delivery of strategies across digital touchpoints including owned platforms (web/app), owned communications (CRM) and digital experiences in line with marketing objectives.
  • Support the Digital Campaigns Manager in the delivery of a calendar of campaigns across digital channels to drive business value, including audience engagement, brand value and monetisation. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and external suppliers across the business to support the delivery of owned communications.
  • Coordinate with and support the Content and Creative Studio and Communications team to ensure effective delivery of key campaign messaging across digital touchpoints.
  • Support the delivery of key digital projects with administrative support, including owned platform development and gaming initiatives.
  • Offer insight and support for the broader marketing team through awareness of the sports and broader media/digital environment.

What part your role will play in The Championships

  • Your role will help coordinate key messaging during The Championships across multiple touchpoints, including working with external teams to deliver campaigns across owned platforms and communications.
  • Working alongside the Audience Insights team, ensure proactive monitoring of engagement and appropriate changes are acted upon during The Championships.
  • Manage owned platforms processes, including the player photos process.

About you

Essential:

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital engagement, ideally across a range of channels
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Good written communication and English language skills
  • Experience working in a high paced environment
  • Stakeholder management capabilities and ability to quickly build rapport
  • Awareness of the sports and/or media sector including the latest trends
  • Able to bring fresh perspectives to a team and comfortable making suggestions for how to engage with audiences

Preferred:

  • Ability to plan effectively for a peak workload, enacting plans developed over a long period of time in a short delivery period.
  • Experience working on major sports events
  • Passionate about building great products and solving guest and business problems
  • Experience with HTML for email campaigns and/or of CMS platforms.
