Job description

The role is responsible for providing facilitation and a pro-active learning and development administration service to support the delivery of the year-round business and The Championships, enabling the AELTC to deliver its vision and business objectives. Working closely with the Head of Leadership Development & Wellbeing, your role will be to support with facilitation (in person and virtually) of delivery of programmes that build individual, team and organisational capability and take overall ownership of learning and development administration.

What you will be doing

 Facilitation

  • Confidently facilitate a suite of half day workshops from the Staff Development Calendar, including (but not limited to) an Introduction to Insights Discovery as well as other Insights Discovery subjects, Company Values based Workshops and specific training for various departments to support the delivery of the Championships.

 Administration

  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of all learning and development administration. Manage the training email inbox, responding to all requests/queries in a timely manner.  Prepare and distribute relevant training material and joining instructions, raise purchase orders, liaise with external suppliers, and ensure all training records are kept up to date.
  • Ensure all Study Assistance agreements are processed and recorded on the system. Set up suppliers for payment, raise purchase orders and liaise with the relevant providers ensuring the smooth completion of the process.
  • Organise both internal and external training courses, as required.  Liaise with relevant parties, book and manage site access, training rooms, refreshments, and ensure each training workshop/event is properly set up prior to face-to-face delivery.
  • Manage the training evaluation process. Collect, input and analyse training data, create accurate reports in line with monthly reporting requirements that report levels of engagement and return on investment.
  • Manage the smooth set up, administration and delivery of the Company Induction Day (Welcome to Wimbledon) coordinate content, invites and support the individual department facilitators on the day.
  • Support the Head of Leadership Development & Wellbeing in implementing the Staff Development Calendar, based on identified priorities and training needs, ensuring it is kept up to date and accessible to all staff.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners to support the performance review process and proactively promote development opportunities to maximise attendance on each workshop within the Staff Development Calendar.
  • Make sure that the HR and Learning Management Systems are up to date, including training records, and ensure all online training booking processes and management information reporting is effective.
  • Ensure all new starters complete Insights Discovery, sending out diary invites, evaluator links, updating team wheels and inserting into relevant event presentation decks.

 

The Championships

  • Facilitation of Championships specific training as required for various departments.
  • Proactively support annual HR activities related to delivering The Championships. This may include recruitment & selection and assessment of temporary staff.     
  • Work with other HR colleagues to design and coordinate the delivery of the colleague recognition scheme during The Championships. 
  • Assist the team with any HR ad hoc tasks during The Championships to ensure the smooth running of the HR department.
  • Work with colleagues across departments to ensure that colleagues communications, management training content, and The Colleague Handbook are fit for purpose to support an excellent colleague experience overall.
  • Oversee the booking of training facilities for teams in the run up to the event, supporting in the creation of and the in person delivery of centralised content where appropriate.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Facilitator with a pro-active attitude and someone who has great attention to detail.  There will need to be some flexibility in your working pattern as to the days that you are ‘on site’ as part of your role will be delivering face to face training.  We will support hybrid working. 

 

Essential

  • 18 months minimum face to face workshop facilitation experience – a confident presenter.
  • Experience on HR or training administration systems.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to work effectively independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport and effective relationships with people at all levels within the business. 
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and development. 
  • Organised, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills and a high level of computer literacy. 

 

Desirable

  • Accredited facilitator in Insights Discovery.
  • Experience of training design
