Estate Management
Did you know that over 60,000 guests come to visit Wimbledon during the 'other 50 weeks of the year'? Our Estate Management team collaborate across the business to ensure everything keeps running smoothly and that the Wimbledon experience is outstanding, whenever people would like to visit. They also have an exceptional programme of preparation ahead of The Championships to ensure that every aspect of the All England Club is up to our high standards while the eyes of the world are upon us.
The Estate Management team includes people with a wide range of expertise, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters and decorators, support services and more.
Estate Project Deliver
Our Estate Project Deliver team is an in-house professional development operation with a team including project managers, architects and engineers. They're responsible for procuring and delivering projects around the Grounds and for the Wimbledon Master Plan. In recent years, this has included large-scale projects such as the redevelopment of No.1 Court, including a retractable roof. However, other projects have also included the design and delivery of a redeveloped Community Sports Centre in Raynes Park with a new Clubhouse for the community members, and the ongoing Wimbledon Park Project.
Energy and Environment
Our Energy and Environment team is responsible for the development and implementation of the energy strategy and decarbonisation programme across the estate. Bringing together professionals in energy management, sustainability, MEP desing, landscaping and biodiversity, this team has the opportunity to shape the net zero programme for iconic sporting facilities.
